May 25, 2013, 7:00 p.m. Farm Hands Quartet

In 2013, the Farm Hands Bluegrass Quartet was nominated for 7 Bluegrass Music Awards including Band of the Year, Gospel Band of the Year and Entertainer of the Year.
They are one of the busiest touring bands in bluegrass, performing over 150 dates per year.
For anyone who has seen them in concert, none of this comes as a surprise. The Farm Hands are one of the most exciting and talented bands in bluegrass music. The group features 4 award winning singers, musicians and songwriters, including two long time veterans of Nashville's Grand Ole Opry.
The Farm Hands Quartet Concert is sponsored by Appalfolks, Central Big Rock Church and the Masonic Theatre Preservation Foundation. Admission: Free Will Donation which will go to Wounded Warriors and “SAVE THE MASONIC” restoration.

June 14, 2013, 5:00p.m. Flag Day A celebration of our country in word and song. The Boy Scouts will present historical flags. Dessert will be served. The event is open to the public!

June 22, 2013, noon to 7:00 p.m., Masonic Amphitheatre Battle of the Bands Competition for regional bands/groups. Prizes for winning bands, in addition to being featured in an Amphitheatre show. Tickets: $5.00

The play revolves around the Sanders Family. Smoke on the Mountain is one of the most produced shows worldwide. Tickets: $7.00 adults, $5.00 seniors, $3.00 students, Family $20.00

Uncle Hamish and the Hooligans light up the Amphitheatre stage on Heritage Day!

Bill Cook, who donated the land where the Masonic Amphitheatre now stands, was honored on September 23 when Masonic Theatre Preservation Foundation Board president, John Hillert, announced that the Amphitheatre stage will be named the Bill Cook & Friends stage.

Allegheny Mountain String Project students jam with Southern Rail Express on a perfect Sunday afternoon-August 26-proceeds from the concert went to benefit the Alleghany Highlands Free Clinic.

Winnie the Pooh enchants audiences of all ages during a lovely evening at the Masonic Amphitheatre.

The Alleghany Highlands turn out in mass to enjoy Shakespeare's As You Like It presented by the talented Traveling Players Troupe.
